• I have mine hooked directly to the back of the TV. I had Greek Squad do the instillation, so l would say the best connection is to the TV directly. Hope this helps.

• Try connecting the optical cable to the TV NOT not the soundbar. Be sure to select the PCM option under audio output on the TV menu
