“If AirPods drop with the case on is there anything locking the AirPods in or might they pop out when they hit the floor, and is there anything locking insurance you could buy for them that covers loss or theft”

There is no locking feature on this case so depending on the drop it is possible for the Airpods to pop out. There is Apple insurance that can be added at time of purchase.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there is no locking mechanism. I’m pretty good with my stuff so I’ve never dropped it so I don’t know if the AirPods would pop out or if the top opens.
