• Check the voltage requirements of the device. Most of these types of devices made in the US are single voltage (120V 60 Hz only) and will require a voltage converter, which this is NOT. Look for a heavier duty one, as well.

• check wattage specification on hair dryer (usually 230v-240v and 50hz rating) if so - would work - in general, you should monitor electrical adapters for over heating - safety measure
