• The back is just thin plywood that screws on. It doesn't look bad, but there is a hole in the center for cords.

• No, it’s not visible. But it can be if you don’t mount up the back board. It’s an amazing unit. Personally have one

• The back of the cabinet looks fine. There are three panels which need to be properly aligned and once completed looks very nice. You shouldn't have any problems and will look great! Good luck.
