“The 1/2" pan head screws will not go into the frames with a Phillips screwdriver. They barely go into their slots, then stop like they're stuck. I've tried for over an hour and can't get them securely in and have tried 3 different Phillips screwdrivers.”

Use a 9/64" drill bit to slightly widen the holes. The screws will attach properly with far less effort.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used a smaller Philips and threaded the screws before assembly, it made tightening them easier because of the lack of room once pieces started going together.
