• It is a dark black tampered glass. You cant really see through it.

• The frame is all metal. The three shelves are glass. The glass is see-through, but not clear. It is a dark smokey color that matches the frame. Also, be aware that this stand is deceptively heavy. Overall, I am very satisfied with it.
