Will the Insignia AC adapter charge an Lenovo Ideapad 100s. I plug it in and it says charging and light gets brighter but I don't see battery power going up. Please let me know. I set it to 4.5 null

I don't have the box anymore, but it come with 4 or 5 adapters that fit a range of different laptops. It works good on my Lenovo Yoga 500 laptop. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

yes, this was bought for an HP convertible. It runs a little on the warm side, but has not got hot.

I have the T470s. It charged without any issues. You may have received a defective charger or it may be the laptop.
