If it fits and not charging, then the charge port on your computer is either malfunctioning, loose or dead. Solution is to go to Best Buy or somewhere to open up your dell and put in a new charge port.

Please try again later.If you use a charger & the connector fits , but not really charging: 2 things can be the problem 1: bad charging device, 2: wrong charger for your device { 1 charger can fit many different devices}. I suggest you take your charger & your device to Geek Squad {make an appt.} & have them check your charger, if it is good, they can help you find the correct charger for your device. gmac
