I bought this for a Lenovo P51, and it would onlycharge the laptop when it was off. When I turned the laptop on, thechatging would stop because it required a 120W charger, not the 90W this product offers.

This is a 90W adapter. If your Toshiba laptop has the same specification, then it will work out. Be sure to check out the Tip Configurator, to verify which tip you need, prior to inserting any tips. A:AnswerIt is not compatible. None of the tips that come with this adapter properly fit in the laptop, and when I called asking for a tip that would be compatible I was told they wouldn’t be compatible. I was able to get a full refund.
