• NO, it is an ordinary SD card and SD micro reader. SIM cards have special protocols that are not distributed to the public. Go to a cell phone store or kiosk on the mall and have the technician clone your card. You will have to provide positive ID with a picture, and some places require you to bring a copy of your latest cell phone bill to prove the account and SIM card are yours. Meanwhile, you can email contacts and pictures from the cell phone to your regular email account. There will usually be no loss of data, detail or clarity.

• The description clearly states that it is designed to read just SD and microSD cards. There is no mention of phone sim cards anywhere. Read before you ask.
