“I just purchased this ethernet adapter today for the Mac Book Air I was also purchasing. It shows up as connected under "Networks", but says it has its own IP address and that it will not connect to the internet. What should I do?”

I purchased this is Insignia Ethernet Adapter for Lenovo IdeaPad yoga11 computer. Which if you know about these I do pads you know that they don’t have all the ports. And I wasn’t able to connect to the Wi-Fi at work so I needed a cable to connect and this came in handy.
