“My question is: Does this Insignia USB to dual HDMI adapter require you to download and install a driver on my windows/PC computer prior to use?? It seems the J5 Create adapter does and i do not want to have to do this on my work computer. thank you”

Search for the "Startech USB 3.0 to Dual HDMI Adapter" and install their driver. For me it did not automatically install for Windows 10 and I had to do this. I don't know why BB/Insignia doesn't provide a driver in the package.
