• It works like the removal electrical plug at the end of your charger in the house, its just using your car battery instead of an electrical outlet. It would be the USB cord you normally use that fits your device that would be the difference. I used a mini USB cord for my phone, so you'd just use the kind of cord you use and plug the USB end into this plug. Plug the charger into your cars cigarette lighter "port" before or after the car is started, then put the USB end if your cord into the charger. Plug the other end into your device. It will charge as long as the car is running.
