“I recently purchased this. Does the slit on the bottom allow the Xbox one X enough airflow? As in because it's a little blocked will the console have any issue overheating when running 4k for hours?”

The one x came with a stand when it first released. If it's the same kind(can't see a pic), you should be ok. The One X is water cooled and doesn't run very hot. I think in the year I've had it I may have heard the fan kick in 3 or 4 times, and it wasn't for a long period either. To be safe though, I would contact MS and ask them what they recommend.
