Why is this even a product? null

Especially with the price drop, it's a good way to see if VR is something for you before investing in an expensive rig. Otherwise, novelty entertainment at best.

For using google cardboard apps. It's an inexpensive option for mobile Virtual Reality.

Because it is a cheap entry into a VR experience and many people already have an expensive phone it would work with.

This item is a cardboard VR box.

it can't be better for this price it does the job 100% I just loved
