I just set up my device yesterday (11/27/2018). I have a Samsung J7 V 2018 phone. I tried many times and could not get my device to authenticate either. I tried using my old Motorola E 2nd generation instead and I was able to go through the set up process without any problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem with the first one I bought. I exchanged it at Best Buy today and the new one authenticated first try. All the info I could find on the web said this was a random problem with some speakers. No one had a fix or workaround for it. Exchange it as defective and get another one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My suggestion would be to uninstall your Google home app, then re-install it.Reset your bluetooth speaker if you haven't already.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you try searching for your router during setup and then enter the password to the router? The Google Home App should ask you to try searching for your router and then enter the password during setup. This has happened to me and it solved the problem.
