“Can you leave speaker plugged up, until you ready use it. ? Do you shut it off after you use it,or leave on until battery dies? I'm thinking leave it on till battery dies or shut it and turn on as needed thoughts anyone?”

You can leave the speaker connected all the time if you are not planning to move it to a different location, it will not damage the battery, but I would recommend you to turn it off when you are not using it. Ruben- Insignia support.

I leave it plugged in and switched on inside the house, which charges the battery, then I unplug it, take it outside, and stream music from the internet. I just say "Hey Google. Play Elton John". You can set it up for multiple streaming music services, or just listen to free stuff from Google. It says it's good for 5 hours with a fully charged battery. When I'm done I just say "Hey Google. Stop". I bring it back in the house and plug it in again to recharge the battery.
