• there is no prepayment option, you must put a credit card on the account and they will charge you monthly whether you print anything or not. Also, if your credit card expires or you miss the payment for any reason HP will shut down the print functions on the printer. I highly recommend you just buy the ink on the internet, its much cheaper and you don't need to let HP into your environment.

• You can utilize a prepaid card for payment in lieu of a credit card, however you are not able to pay in advance.
