you do not need a rice setting, in fact, I don't recommend it. Look for recipes online. I do: 2cups white rice, 2 cups water, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon butter or vegan substitute and pressure cook on high pressure for 5 min.

Some models have one, but it uses pressure so you can do the same thing with the pressure cook button. We recommend using a 1:1 ratio of rice to water, and a time of 4 minutes for white rice or 22 minutes for brown rice. You can always adjust these to your preference, but start with these settings and see how it goes!
