Hi NameNick, the only difference between the P0 and R0 is a security update that will not affect the performance or the function of the processor. If you would like to determine if P0 or R0 locate the S-SPEC number listed on the processor and I believe on the packing box as well. Once you have that, you can look up the stepping at Intel.ark.com. You need to go to the “Ordering and Compliance” area to match the S-SPEC code to the stepping.
