No compatible your motherboard has a socket 1150 and I believe the i5-9600k is a socket 1151, also yours is like 4th gen and this is a 9th gen, usually I see motherboards from intel support 2 gens but yours can support like 4590 or 4690. It will be better for you look for a motherboard H370, Z370 or Z390 if you really want it, and be careful with the form factor compatible to your case, ATX, Micro ATX, mini Atx or ITX
Sorry, there was a problem. If what I just explained sounds like gibberish to you, then this item might not be the best fit for your needs. You may end up saving quite a bit of money by opting for a non-K processor paired with a “B” or “H” series motherboard (eg. H370 or B365).

For the Intel Core I5-9600K you are looking at you would need a motherboard that has the FCLGA1151 chipset. Best Buy does have a very good selection of motherboards that are compatible with the Intel Core I5-9600K which can be found here https://www.bestbuy.com/site/computer-cards-components/motherboards/abcat0507008.c?id=abcat0507008&qp=processorsocketsv_facet%3DProcessor%20Socket~Socket%20LGA%201151 Thank you for choosing Intel.
