“Hello I have a 150m bazooka plus motherboard I’m looking to upgrade my intel core i3 6100 to intel core i5 9600k I’m not sure if itd work I believe they have the same socket type but I’m not completely sure”

• No 6th and 7th gen are not compatible with 8th and 9th gen. Yours is a 1151 socket and this CPU is a 1151 300 series does not work

• The motherboard needs to have a 300 series chipset in it for this processor to work. Even if its the same socket, LGA 1151, it still needs the 300 series chipset.

• Need a 300 series chipset. Your motherboard will not work.

• You would have to upgrade your motherboard as well because the 150m chipset is not compatible with the ninth gen intel processors.
