• Absolutely, by far and away, yes. I run dual nVidia Titan on 12700k and have never experienced any application. Which used more than 20% of total chipset capacity. You can't flummox it.

• It very much depends on settings and resolution as pushing extreme frame rates can bottleneck any CPU. Generally speaking the 12700K will do a very good job in the vast majority of cases especially if you're playing with higher graphics settings.
