• No, this version does not have an annual fee. The less expensive versions are an annual subscription and that is stated in the description.

• While you can purchase the software once, and Intuit will support the software for three years, after that period Intuit will block you from logging into the software. In order to gain access to your data, you will need to upgrade to an annual plan which currently (Jan 2023) costs $550 to $750 per year! A gentle form of extortion.
