• Hello, The Air LP has a built-in pre-amp. The turntable will connect to your receiver through a line-level input (Tape, AUX, CD, etc.)

• No, it does not. I only use it either with headphones or via the Bluetooth out to a Bluetooth speaker, which works perfectly. But if you wish to play it over NON-Bluetooth speakers, you will need an amp.
