I can't answer your specific issue, but if you have an audio outlet, I would just get an audio cable to go between headphone jack and car if you can't get it to connect by Bluetooth. Simple fix.

Some cars and laptops are Bluetooth compatible but only support voice calls or commands, Bluetooth mouse/keyboard, etc. and do not support streaming music over Bluetooth. If you're unsure if your car or laptop supports A2DP Bluetooth, please contact the manufacturer.
