In my car, the cassette slides in and then drops down which obstructs the charging port. If cassettes on your system do not drop down then yes, it will be possible to charge while playing. Otherwise, you will have the same issue. For what it's worth, I've had it now for more than two weeks and have not had to recharge yet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately you have to remove it to charge . however it's easily charged with a similar cell phone adapter, including a car adapter . charge time is often less than 45 min but will hold a charge for 4 hours +
