“I am interested in using this for an outdoor meeting. If I have the microphone plugged in, could I Bluetooth connect this speaker with one or two other speakers? Would they have to be ION or are other brands okay?”

Hi! Thanks for the question! The Ion Sport will not pass the Microphone signal to other units via Bluetooth. Although it can link to other stereo link enabled devices, to transmit Bluetooth signal, please see this helpful infographic for more information; https://www.ionaudio.com/multi-sync-stereo-link-compatibility
