Can I use this with Android Auto? I currently run a USB-C into my Note 8 from my Pioneer AVH-2550nex. Will running it into this mount cause issues or does AA treat it like all 1 unit? null

You probably could but I wouldn’t buy the this model if you’re plugging it in. This mode is more expensive because it’s also charging your phone. But there is space for the cable to run in from the underside. Just don’t buy the wireless charging unit

In this case, I would simply not run the power cable to the mount while running AA. The power cable easily disconnects from the backside when using AA or Car Play.

This is a wireless charging phone dock. It leaves the bottom center open for cable connection. If you are charging and connecting your phone through USB C you can get the unpowered version of this mount I would think. 

If you are wanting wireless charging you will want to check you connection settings and turn off one of the charging modes when connected, depending on your phone

The phone will switch to C- cable by default. Better off just buying a regular phone holder if you prefer the cable.
