Do the base rotate? null

No. Mount the base so that the arm can be adjusted side to side or up and down. The plate that holds the phone is on a ball so that part can adjust in any direction.

The base itself doen't rotate but the arm adjusts up/down n side/side so you can aim it whicheven way you want.

Sorry but the base does not rotate but it's pretty sturdy!
