• Mine came off just fine when I needed to remove it and move it to another area on my dash. I would use rubbing alcohol or vinegar to get off the residue, between the two of them, I don’t think you should have any problem with it leaving any residue behind.

• The disc is removable but cannot be reused. U would need to buy a new one for another car. There is a little stick in the box. I think it’s to help remove it.
