• Does not have wireless charging capabilities, you still need to plug directly into your phones charging port. But the base that the phone sits on (it is secured on the sides) is to prongs with a gap between them that any standard charging plug can fit between regardless of Apple or Android.

• Hi Dan, the Easy One Touch 5 does NOT have wireless charging. You would need to use a cable directly. If you're in the market for a mount with Wireless charging, we would recommend you check out the Auto Sense or Easy One Touch 2 Wireless.

• The mount must be a wireless charging mount and that type has to be connected with a micro USB cord, which is included in the package. The mount can't charge without being connected by a cord to your power source.
