Isn't heat from the sun a problem in this location? null

as long as you use it with the base its ok. and make sure to clean tha area before installing

My daughter has had one for several months and never had a problem with heat.

It handles pretty well with the sun!

Didn’t seem to bother my device in this location, but I do have a lite 70% tint on my front windshield

It hasn't been so far although the phone does get hot.
