I plan on putting this on my dash, I have an iPhone with a fairly thin case so will it grip my phone well? Also how durable is it, if I’m going fast and hit a bump is the suction gonna fail me and go flying whenever I hit a bump? null

The grip holds quite well, the case on mine isnt very thick either and holds that just fine.
The suction seems to be good also. I haven’t hit any bumps at high speeds, but i have driven over things like railroad tracks at normal speed, some rougher roads and even accidentally over a curb or two and it has held just fine.

Hi Jaspen, the cradle will hold your phone securely with or without a case. If you have a textured dash we would recommend using the included dashboard pad, with that the suction cup will hold strong even if you hit a bump on the highway.

I have a Galaxy S21 ultra which is very heavy the phone doesn't move once it's mounted even with hitting bumps.. The suction cups hold very strong however I would mount the mounting plate to the - 1st let that sit then mount thr phone holder to the plate

It will grip your phone just fine like you described. Also as long as it is on a flat surface it doesn’t budge at all. Bumps and all it’s good to go.
