• Hi. I don’t think it was made to be used via the air vent. I placed it in my dashboard. I believe it can be placed on the windscreen but it had specific cars which it could be placed on the windscreen. So if purchased make sure you check the leaflet. Hope this helps you.

• No it's only able to be mounted to a windshield or dash.
