Hello, IQAir air purifiers are primarily designed to remove airborne particles such as dust, allergens, mold spores, and pet dander from the air. While they are effective at capturing these smaller particles, including pet dander, they may not specifically target or capture larger particles like pet hair floating in the air. Also, filters are not washable. They are designed to be replaced when they reach the end of their lifespan or when they become saturated with particles they've filtered from the air. IQAir uses high-quality, dense filters that are not intended to be washed because washing could damage the filter material and reduce its effectiveness.
