    • Answer Yes, most airborne viruses range from .004 to 0.3 microns and the IQAir HealthPro Plus can filter particles down to .003 microns at least at a 99.5% efficiency.

  • QuestionDose it take out mold and what is cost of filters

    • Answer General mold spores can range from 1 - 75 microns. The HyperHEPA Filter on the HealthPro Plus can filter particles smaller than that at 0.3 microns at a 99.97% efficiency and even filter particles 100 times smaller than that at 0.003 microns at a 99.5% efficiency. The HealthPro Plus comes with 3 different filters which are replaced at different times, please see below (based on using at speed 3, 10 hours per day) -PreMax Pre-Filter - $69.00 - 18 month filter life -V5-Cell Filter - $99.00 - 2 year filter life -HyperHEPA Filter $199.00 - 4 year filter life

    • Answer Hello, IQAir air purifiers are primarily designed to remove airborne particles such as dust, allergens, mold spores, and pet dander from the air. While they are effective at capturing these smaller particles, including pet dander, they may not specifically target or capture larger particles like pet hair floating in the air. Also, filters are not washable. They are designed to be replaced when they reach the end of their lifespan or when they become saturated with particles they've filtered from the air. IQAir uses high-quality, dense filters that are not intended to be washed because washing could damage the filter material and reduce its effectiveness.
