It cleans but doesn't do as good a job as using a mop. I purchased the washable wet jet pads. They do a much better job than the throw away pads that came the the product. It will work around furniture. Also able to create a virtual wall so you can limit the space that it cleans.

It may depend upon your furniture, but It cleans around all my furniture (bedrooms, den, entry, kitchen, bathrooms, etc.). The Braava happens to fit under the cross bars of my kitchen chairs and cleans beautifully around each leg too. I do have to lift one bed skirt & tuck some electrical cords in a few rooms. It controls & removes the fur from one long haired spaniel quite well. We are all very happy with the performance.

The best part about it is it cleans the corners along the walls INCREDIBLY well! I love it just for the dirt the collects mid week and cleanings. It at least keeps the room smelling clean and looks fresh. I would think it would do great on vinyl and linoleum floors. (I have 4x4" white tiles.) Good luck!

Please try again later.it does clean well. my wife loved it as she'd set just about every day. most of time with dry pads, so it was like using the swifter sweeper. she liked the damp pads also. was cool to watch it spray then wipe over. it was great. then stopped working. it turns on, beeps etc. but wont move. we ensured the wheel track was clean of any tangles. we reset it. reset again, and again, and again. so far it's still not working. (which is why i vacuumed and then mopped the floors yesterday). it's 6 months old. company very specific about their 6 month warranty from what i can see. hopefully my wife can try and get some tech support to see if it can be fixed.
