It tends to get close to throw rugs so we usually pick any up. It will not scratch the floor. It has been doing an excellent job and my children named it Bob.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I assume your stone floor surface has some texture to it. Brava Jet isn't effective on floors that aren't dead flat and smooth. It pushes stiff flat pads that ride across the high spots and do not reach down into areas that are even slightly (thousandths of an inch) lower.
