• It's recommended that you use the specific solution, which is designed for both the best cleaning and best interaction with the robot. The solution does go a long way.

• Yes! Technically, you can use any liquid or solid of your choosing, even a gas, but I wouldn’t recommend it. You spend $600 on a robot mop, use the recommended solution. Just my thoughts. I only use iRobot solution.
