• No Roomba can go up or down stairs on its own. So yes you have to physically move the robot to another floor. However it’s very light and small compared to conventional vacuums and you don’t have to do the actual vacuuming once it gets to the floor.

• Roomba does not have the capability to claim stairs so you are gonna need to ether get two or yes physically place roomba upstairs or downstairs.
