“We have 3000sf on the main floor (kit, frml living & dining, nook, bath, & family rm). It's all slate, hardwood, & silk rugs. Will this resume where it left off during the next scheduled cleaning? I plan to have it run every other day (no kids or pets) .”

This robot will need to be moved to each room. It will leave the room if the door is open ahnd may not find it's way back to home. This model does not "learn" the house layout and ours usually gets "lost" if left to roam from room to room and runs out of charge and stops.

No, every time it starts a cleaning cycle, it creates a fresh map. You may want to use the invisible wall and/or manually re-position before starting a cycle.
