Is the 890 app control the same as wifi control? null

You can still control the Roomba through the app even if you’re away from home. The roomba is simply connected to your WiFi and the app.

Sorry Ronnie but I don't know anything about wifi controlling Rumba. I would contact the manufacturer.

yes, you install the app on your phone and it syncs via your wifi to the roomba. this thing works great but you do need to set your furniture up to get the best results. ie - dining room chairs against one wall.....the roomba battery lasts longer when obstacles are managed in advance.

Yes, the Brava uses the same app control as the Roomba. It will show up as another device.
