USE IT EVERY DAY. AT FIRST IT MAY NEED EMPTYING OFTEN. THE ROOMBA WILL CONTINUE TO CLEAN AND CHARGE WHEN NEEDED. AUTOMATICALLY GO BACK TO CLEANING TILL DONE.

The top of the line 980 will be your best choice because there is a two stage motor that revs up to 10x once it detects carpet.

980It is the best. Our main floor is a little bigger than 2400. It takes a while to clean, and has to recharge. It’s hands off other than to empty.
