The Roomba e5 doesn’t require Wi-Fi to vacuum. Just push the clean button to start the robot and it will return to the charging station when the battery becomes low or the job is finished. If the Roomba isn’t connected to Wi-Fi, you do lose the ability to use some of the advanced features such as the iRobot Home App.
