The virtual wall devices are sold separately, but the control app by itself allows you to place No Go zones on the map that will keep out of places where you don’t want it to go. For example, I put one around the location of the Christmas tree on the map and it works fine.

You can also name the rooms and create square "Do-not-go" zones in any of the rooms or halls. With this information you can instruct the i6 to clean just one or more of the rooms or throw-rugs you named and avoid the rest of the rooms.
