I try hard to check for stuck hair around the tubes each time it does a big job. I pull the hair of the tibes and check the sides. The hair seems to ruin the treads. I only replace about every 6 months or so, but that’s probably why. The quality should be better for the price!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.IRobot recommends once a year. I have not had to replace these on my S9. On my old 800 series I had to change them about every year and a half to two years as they started leaving bits of dog hair around.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is recommended to clean the Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes every 1-2 weeks, and replace them every 6-12 months.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not necessary to replace the dual roller brushes in the S9 every two months under normal conditions. I previously had a Roomba 980 which uses the same brushes (rubber rollers) and they lasted many months. With the S9 that I currently own, I have not seen any significant wear or degradation of the brushes. However, I have had two of them fail by separating into pieces. Apparently they ran across something that cut/tore a path around the circumference, maybe a floor register or a toy. After several months of usage the rollers do get dirty but their surfaces are still compliant (soft to the touch) and maintain their texture/patterns.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am personally not changing out the rollers every two months. They last much longer than that. The only time you will see them wear faster is if hair or string gets wrapped on around them pretty good and it actually ends up cutting through them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mostly tile and 2 floor flat carpets, my sq ft of the down stairs is about 800 sq ft. I ran my Roomba "Rosy" lol, probably 1 time a month and I bought it I think a year ago, and i noticed it wasnt vacuuming so well and this little sweeper was bent out of shape, so I guess after maybe about 8-10 vacuumings the broom might need replacing? I like my roomba!
