“Two questions about the microphone: a) how can you attach the microphone and b) is this corded microphone "better" than those that are embedded in a transmitter. What I mean is that I don't want to have to shout to be heard on phone calls. Thanks”

The microphone has a piece of velcro so you can attach it to your dash. People should be able to hear you better because you can get this microphone closer to you than if it was built into the transmitter.

Please try again later.The mic has a little Velcro bit to secure it and the cord is pretty long so I places mine higher on my dash than the charging hole that I put the other part of the device in. I haven’t had any issues with not being able to be heard or having to shout when using it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You could glue or Velcro (like the pads) toy somewhere, and I have found the mic to be better quality. I have one with the microphone in the dash receiver and I agree shouting at it is awful. I hope this helps!
