• Not sure how to answer this one. Aux is for audio and 12 volts is supplied by your car's "lighter" socket for power. I can say this. If you do not have an Aux jack then seek out a Bluetooth adapter in a tape cassette if your car has a cassette player. You will be able to play audio through your entertainment system. • This unit requires a 3.5mm aux input jack for getting the Bluetooth audio to the vehicle. There are several other iSimple options that will work by simply tuning to an FM station with the factory radio, and would not need a 3.5mm jack-type input to work.
