• The Mac mini with M2 will need an HDMI cable such as JDC53 Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable or JDC52 Premium High Speed HDMI Cable instead of a DisplayPort Cable.

• Does the Mac mini M2 have an HDMI port? If so you could get an adapter or even an HDMI cable and return that cable, but I believe the Mac Mini M2 only has USB Type C connectors. Would recommend returning that cable and finding a compatible cable.
